Reef

The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System is a region that stretches over 1,000 kilometers (620 mi) from the tip of the Yucatán Peninsula to the Bay Islands of Honduras. Playa del Carmen (or just Playa for the locals) offers quick and easy access to some of the greatest diving spots worldwide.  Home to the second largest barrier reef system in the world.  Amazing corals, a tremendous number of fish species, and great visibiltity should put this at the top of your dive list.
Whether it’s your first time or your log book is full, you will enjoy Playa del Carmen’s amazing variety of reefs in both deep and shallow waters.

Requirements

LOG BOOK AND A DIVER CERTIFICATION CARD from PADI, SSI, CMAS or any other international association.
Basic scuba gear and a wet suit no thicker than 3.5 mm for our Caribbean waters.
Optional: UW Camera
It is ok if you bring your own camera, but please ensure that you will have good control of your buoyancy and agree to not disturb the marine life.

Group Size

4 divers : 1 dive guide
We like to manage small groups for a better experience and we usually have one instructor for every 4 divers.
If we have more people, we bring an extra instructor onboard. Our boat can accommodate up to 10 divers.
