First Time Diving
Take your vacation to the next level and create an experience that you’ll remember forever. You’ll find our instructor’s enthusiasm and friendliness quickly puts you at ease as you slip into the water and discover a marvelous world exploding with color and life.
The learning process is quick, easy (we have great instructors!), and very experiential. This isn’t a course with hours and hours of boring classroom work. Your experience begins in the morning with a few fun hours of instruction and practice in our pool or shallow ocean water. By mid-afternoon we’ll have you dropping from the boat into the gorgeous blue and teal water of Playa del Carmen for your first open water dive!
Feel free to bring your GoPro or other underwater camera! We are happy to help you get some great picutres of you and your friends on your first dives or hire an underwater photo service from us. Look out Instagram!

Quick paperwork and learn about how to prepare your diving gear.
We also teach you underwater communication and we make a plan of the scuba day.
Practice some new diving skills in confined shallow water (walk in from the beach) or in our pool.
After that you will have a break to get hydrated and some lunch.
Finally! Your first open water dive on a lovely shallow reef. 10-12 meters deep for 45-60 minutes. Discover all new types of fish, shrimp, eels, lobsters, coral, and more!
Rest after diving. Sit on the boat, drink water, and the time-honored tradition of talking with your fellow divers about all of the amazing things you just saw!
We will travel a short distance back to the coast, where we will be picked up by our transportation
